About Me

Trish Bentley is a writer, editor, and creative mentor with an MA in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Gloucestershire and a BA in Creative Writing from The New School University in New York City. Over the past fifteen years, she has honed her storytelling craft and helped others find their voices through her dynamic writing workshops for adults and children.

A prolific author, Trish has completed four novels, each delving into the complexities of relationships, identity, and resilience. Her published works include the children’s book About Town with Benny Be, and her essays and articles have appeared in The Huffington Post and The New York Press.

In addition to her literary pursuits, Trish is deeply committed to fostering creativity and connection within her community. She co-founded and runs a non-profit, The Stevie Fever for ALS Foundation, which supports Canadian families facing ALS. She also leads social media marketing for Canoe Therapy, a children's therapy clinic dedicated to empowering neurodiverse kids and their families.

Whether she’s teaching storytelling workshops, crafting compelling social media content, or dreaming up her next novel, Trish’s work is grounded in her belief in the transformative power of creativity. She lives in Toronto with her husband, their three boys, and their two four-legged daughters, Tessa and Evie.
